Alastair Keir
Chief Executive

Alastair joined Salix in November 2006 as Director of Operations and became Managing Director in February 2008. He is responsible for day to day management of the business, and is also Company Secretary. Alastair brings to Salix the benefit of his business and financial expertise, and an extensive understanding of financial analysis, business strategy and corporate governance.

Alastair began his career in Corporate Banking with Barclays, where his roles included directing a portfolio of medium to large corporate relationships, corporate planning and managing lending teams. More recently, he has been Acting Chief Operating Officer for a digital media company and Finance Director of a business publishing firm. Before then, he was a Business Adviser with Business Link for London and an associate of the National Business Angel network.
