Salix provided £7.8m of interest free conditional grants to Central Government departments for the completion of energy efficiency projects over a 12 month period.

  • 129 energy efficiency measures across the central government estate were completed.
  • This realised c £2.2m in financial savings and 16,000 tonnes of CO2. savings annually.
  • This has resulted in lifetime financial savings of £33.2m and 230,000 tonnes lifetime CO2 savings.
  • This input from Salix has been a strong contributor to the achievement of Central Government targets for energy efficiency savings.
