The Process
1.
Selection & Prioritisation |
- Eligible institutions will receive an Application Pack directly from the LSC. The pack will include the Application Form and the Application Notes. (Also available here)
- Applicants will need to download the
PROJECT COMPLIANCY SHEET.
- Applicants are required to send the completed Application Form and Project Compliancy Sheet to LSCApplicationForm@salixfinance.co.uk
and by hard copy, within 2 working days to:

- Applicants can apply for any amount of funding up to £150,000. There is no minimum amount.

2.
Fund
Payment Process |
- Colleges will be notified of the success or otherwise of their application in March 2008. Funds will be paid by LSC in March or April 2008. This funding must be invested by
1st October 2008.
- For funding over £50k, half of the money will be paid in March and the rest will be paid upon completition of the institutions energy saving projects.

3.
Implementation of Projects |
- All projects must be completed before 1st October 2008 and a signed confirmation must be sent to Salix by October 15th 2008 stating this. A draft letter is included as part of the application pack. Those colleges that do not complete the projects within this timescale will be subject to recovery of the funding from LSC.
- An audit will be undertaken by Salix to check projects have been carried out.
- Only compliant projects with a maximum 5 year payback, using proven technologies, will be funded.
