 About the Programme

The Salix Finance FE Pilot Programme is funded directly by the LSC, the organisation that exists to make England better skilled and more competitive.

Salix is pleased to offer all LSC funded FE institutions the opportunity to apply for a proportion of the allocated funding to assist in reducing their carbon footprint.

This is a one-off grant from the LSC that must be invested in energy efficiency projects by 1st Oct 2008.

The primary focus of this work should be to reduce emissions under the control of FEs such as academic, accommodation and leisure facilities.

In contrast to our other schemes operated by Salix, the funds available do not need to be match funded by FEs, nor is the fund recycling.
