Salix College Energy Fund
Energy Efficiency Funding Available Now for Further Education Colleges
Salix is proud to announce the launch of a new round of funding for Further Education Colleges in England, in partnership with the EAUC. The funding ensures Further Education Colleges can continue to invest in energy efficient technologies, resulting in both carbon and financial savings.
Since 2014 when the first round was launched, Salix have funded over 100 energy efficiency projects in FE Colleges resulting in estimated annual savings of over £1.5 million and 7,500 tonnes of carbon*. There over 120 energy-efficiency technologies which are eligible and the loan is repaid from the savings generated by the project.
- Accepting Expressions of Interest – Now
- Applications open - December 2016
- Close of initial round - 10th February 2017
Salix welcomes early applications and Expressions of Interest so that Colleges can share with Salix the projects for which they are seeking funding. Salix will allocate funding as they receive eligible applications until the closing date, so completing an ‘Expression of Interest’ form is encouraged.
Salix will also launch an additional round of funding, following the current round, which will be open through to August 2017. Colleges who intend to apply for this additional round are also encouraged to submit an ‘Expression of Interest’ form. Salix continues to support new and existing clients who are implementing strategic funding plans as they develop and deliver on their carbon management plans. Sharing these plans with Salix can allow a long-term, multiple year funding approach to be agreed.
