What our employees are saying
Suad Omer, Business Analyst at Salix, said: “Salix provides a collaborative and friendly work environment. Our work culture supports open and transparent values that enable employees to have an input in both strategic and operational objectives and plans. In my years in Salix, I have seen progressive development towards creating an inclusive and supportive company structure. I feel a great pride in being part of a nurturing company that helps me set and fulfil my professional development goals.”
Joan Dayap, Client Support Officer at Salix, said: “I’m very proud of Salix’s achievement in Best Companies. Salix and everyone within have always been so friendly and supportive despite the challenges over the last 18 months with the pandemic and the launch of new schemes. The organisation was all the more attentive towards staff wellbeing and mental health during these times, providing mental health workshops and training opportunities to build resilience. I feel like I have a really strong support system available that continuously encourage both professional and personal growth. It has been a pleasure to work at Salix, watching it grow and growing with it.”
Tyler DeBarr, Programme Coordinator at Salix, said: “Joining a new company, especially as a first job, is a daunting experience at any time, but during a pandemic where home working is the ‘new normal’, this process has become far more complicated. However, any doubts I had about starting my job were removed almost immediately at Salix. It has been so easy to get involved with the team and the company and my induction process was very smooth. Motivation at home was a big concern of mine, but all the work I have undertaken has been rewarding and stimulating. There has been support available from every direction and I don’t feel that I could have been more fortunate in the company I ended up in during lockdown.”
