Salix Finance will be hosting regional meetings across England in September.

Wakefield College LED Lighting Project Set to Deliver Lifetime Savings of over £2.25 million

Wakefield College has recently completed a lighting upgrade project throughout a number of campus buildings which is set to save over £2.25 million and 6,000 tons of carbon over the lifetime of the project

The college is the first in Yorkshire to be awarded the Carbon Trust Standard, recognising their commitment to taking action against climate change. Shane O’Donnell, Wakefield College’s energy officer, said:

Launch of the HEFCE/Salix RGF4 Scheme

Following an evaluation of the first three rounds of the HEFCE Revolving Green Fund, which confirmed the effectiveness of the scheme, a further £34 million will be invested.
