Salix speaking at Scotland Policy Conference: Next steps for improving energy efficiency in Scotland

The Scotland policy conference is taking place on the 5th October at The Principal Edinburgh.

The Scotland policy conference will discuss policy priorities for improving energy efficiency in Scotland and provide delegates with the opportunity to discuss key issues for domestic energy efficiency within Scotland, including:

  • The possible avenues for finance and investment
  • The role of the Energy Company Obligation in reducing fuel poverty
  • Opportunities for reducing energy demand through district heating, retrofitting and sustainable design

Sam Illsley, programme manager at Salix Finance will be  presenting  on the priorities for Scotland’s Energy Efficiency Programme, including the pilot programmes, procurement and private sector finance, at 9:35 am.

Sam will be joined on a panel with Dave Pearson, the director of Star Renewable Energy, Tim Maiden, Partner at CAG Consultants and Ian Booth, the Chief Executive Officer of  Aberdeen Heat and Power and Janice Pauwels, Head of Energy and Low Carbon at the City of Edinburgh Council.
