Decarbonisation dialogue podcast launched

There’s a new twist on our mission to save the planet which we’re doing through the medium … of podcasting.

We’ve launched a new series of podcasts, called the Decarbonisation Dialogue, to highlight the climate challenges we face – and how they are being tackled head on.

Presented by our own Hannah Walker and produced by Andy Carter, the series brings together a range of expert voices in the decarbonisation field.

They share their own experiences of tackling climate change and how they are contributing to net zero.

The first nine episodes are now available for streaming or download from your preferred podcast platform including Apple, Amazon and Spotify.

The recordings are also available from our website at salixfinance.co.uk/podcasts.

Episode one is a conversation with our chief executive, Kevin Holland about the challenges of working with governments as the race continues to reach net zero.

He also reflects on how his background in science helps his own journey to drive change and make a positive difference to our planet.

We also hear from other experts within Salix.  Our technical lead, Davide Natuzzi explains how his engineering experience is fighting climate change in episode four.

In episode six, our director of public sector decarbonisation, Ian Rodger talks about how he swapped a 20-year career in the British Army for one helping to save the planet.

Becca Weight, one of our energy and carbon experts is our guest in episode nine who explains why she wants more women to go into engineering and the technical sector.
