It's all about networking and excellence for Salix

Salix teams made key connections when they joined thousands of attendees at the Schools & Academies Show.

The team took the opportunity to catch up with clients from across the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme among other programmes that Salix delivers.

Salix Programme Manager Charles Pegg said: “These events are very important to us because as well as providing a good networking opportunity, we are able to talk with key consultants and others working with several of our Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme projects.

“It’s always productive to join the talks and especially those held by the Department for Education about the current state of energy use in schools and what support they can provide moving forward.”

The Schools & Academies Show takes place twice a year, and the Salix team attended the event last Wednesday. There is also an event in Birmingham later in the year.

Thousands of people attend the shows with people representing schools, academies, local authorities, central government and more.

Salix Client support officer Sarah Cockerill added: “At Salix we pride ourselves on our excellent working relationships with our clients and our first-class customer service.

“We take every opportunity we can to meet people and discuss the issues around decarbonisation and energy that matter to them.
