Phase 1 Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme

About this scheme

Phase 1 Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme was launched by Salix on behalf of the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (formerly the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy) in September 2020 as part of the Chancellor’s Plan for Jobs 2020 commitment to support the UK economic recovery from COVID 19.

The scheme provided £1bn of funding for capital energy efficiency and heat decarbonisation projects within the public sector non-domestic buildings. Projects were delivered from 2020 to 2022 and it is now closed to applications.
