Quality audits for energy efficiency measures funded through capital and legacy schemes

In December 2024, the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero started commissioning audits to assess whether the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF), Home Upgrade Grant (HUG) and Local Authority Delivery Scheme (LAD) are effected by non-compliance with quality standards.

These schemes are delivered via local authorities and housing providers and are often referred to as ‘capital and legacy schemes’.

We, Salix, have been commissioned to complete this work on behalf of the department.
