Your annual carbon report
Covering financial years 2024/25
Welcome to our carbon monitoring page aimed at supporting you complete your annual carbon report.
A key criterion of the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme (PSDS) is to measure and monitor energy and carbon savings at project completion for three years. This information will support the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero and our teams at Salix to better understand the impact of the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme funding. It also helps us identify ways to improve the implementation of low carbon heating and energy efficiency measures.
On this page, you will find our carbon reporting form, an explanatory video, FAQs, how to find and collect energy usage data, and our page on your carbon reporting.
This year we are collecting data from projects that have either partially completed or fully completed before the end of March 2024. To support this, grant recipients are now required to complete and submit the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme Annual Carbon Report for the 2024/25 financial year by 1 October 2025. This is applicable to:
- Phase 1 & 2 grant recipients for their third year of reporting
- Phase 3a Single-Year grant recipients for their second year of reporting
- Phase 3a Multi–Year (2 year) grant recipients for their first year of reporting
- Phase 3b Single-Year grant recipients for their first year of reporting
Our work with you
Every day our teams at Salix are working with organisations across the UK to help reduce our carbon footprint. We’re keen to support the public sector, and the housing sector create more energy efficient buildings – and more comfortable places in which we can all thrive. Every day we see how communities are impacted by our work across the UK. It’s important that we measure and monitor the results of the projects we deliver alongside our stakeholders. Measuring energy use is essential for combating climate change, it provides the data needed to develop targeted reduction strategies and helps identify where cost savings can be made on energy bills.
Thank you for completing our carbon report form and we look forward to seeing it returned by 1 October 2025.
