Home Upgrade Grant (HUG) Hive

The HUG Hive existed to support grant recipients in navigating the final stages of their Home Upgrade Grant Phase 2 (HUG2) projects.

The scheme, which was active between 2023 to 2025, saw 11,800 homes receive energy efficiency upgrades comprising of 21,900 measures.

This platform aimed to serve as a resource repository, a centralised space where grant recipients could access valuable insights, access helpful resources and find guidance for common challenges.

Some of the pages previously hosted on the HUG Hive were closed from Tuesday 4 November 2025 aligned with the closure of the scheme
