Salix Awarded Highly Commended Company of the Year at the BusinessGreen Leaders Awards 2019

Salix is pleased to announce being awarded Highly Commended in the Company of the Year category at the BusinessGreen Leaders Awards 2019. The awards ceremony took place this week, where over 500 executives, politicians, investors, entrepreneurs, and campaigners from across the green economy gathered in London for the ninth annual BusinessGreen Leaders Awards.

The award recognises businesses that have embodied the values and advanced the cause of the green economy over the past 12 months, an organisation that is genuinely committed to developing new and more sustainable ways of doing business, while working towards ambitious environmental and sustainable development goals.

BusinessGreen said, ‘The quality of entrants was higher than ever before - a testament to the rapidly growing influence, importance, and maturity of a green economy that is absolutely critical to the UK's future health and prosperity’. 

Salix would like to congratulate Kingfisher who were also awarded Highly Commended Company of the Year and Ørsted who won the overall category.
