Salix presenting at Premium Light Pro "Switching to Efficient Indoor Lighting” Workshop

Funded by Horizon 2020 and delivered in the UK by the Energy Saving Trust, the Premium Light Pro project is providing support to organisations looking to make the switch to energy efficient lighting in the non-domestic sector. This workshop is in partnership with the Lighting Industry Academy and takes places on Tuesday the 11th of September in Telford.

This free workshop will be delivered by experienced trainers from the Lighting Industry Academy and will look at:

  • An introduction to LED lighting and controls, and the savings possible
  • Understanding technical jargon and manufacturer data sheets
  • Design: the right light in the right place at the right time, and how best to use daylight
  • Procurement, quality, cost, and performance claims
  • Project funding information

Suki Gohel, Client Support Officer and Lindy Frey, Programme Manager from Salix will be presenting at the workshop. The presentation will discuss how interest-free finance from Salix can be utilised for efficient lighting upgrades in public sector buildings and showcase Salix’s experience of supporting lighting projects across the UK with some best practice case studies.
