About this scheme
A £2 million boost for solar power was announced under the Scottish Public Sector Energy Efficiency Loan Scheme, giving public sector organisations across Scotland more opportunity than ever to invest in solar projects.
The additional £2 million of funding for solar projects has been provided to the Scottish Government by Great British Energy, and is specifically earmarked for solar photovoltaic (PV), and will help more organisations reduce energy costs and carbon emissions as they work towards achieving net zero targets across their estates.
